Myanmar-Thailand-China representatives met and discussed issues related to accelerating the trilateral cooperation in combating (Online Scam) and (Online Gambling) and coordinating the transfer of third-country nationals to their respective countries via Thailand.
Representatives from Myanmar-Thailand-China met in Mae Sot, Thailand on the morning of February 19 to discuss the transfer of foreign nationals involved in online fraud and criminal activities as soon as possible.
The meeting was attended by a delegation led by Pol. Gen. Tin Ko Ko, Deputy Chief of Police (1) of the Myanmar Police Force, the Deputy Provincial Governor of Tak Province, Thailand, and Mr. Narongchai Jindaphan, Deputy Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, the three countries discussed the acceleration of the trilateral cooperation in combating (Online Scam) and (Online Gambling), the country of origin, They discussed issues related to the systematic implementation of the transfer and acceptance processes between the transit country and the destination country, the formation of a Task Force between these countries and the drafting of an Action Plan to implement the measures, and the coordination and coordination of the transfer of third-country nationals to the relevant countries via Thailand as soon as possible.
