The Chairman of the State Executive Council announced on March 13 that he has awarded honorary titles and medals to those who have performed national defense and security duties with great effort.

In awarding honorary titles and medals for their outstanding performance in national defense and security duties, the Ministry of Defense awarded the honorary title of “Thura Bwe” to Colonel Yan Naung Soe and Major Aung Thu, and the Ministry of Defense awarded the “Thaura Kwan” to 16 people, including Lieutenant Colonel Myo Swe Latt, Major Aung Bo Bo, Major Pyae Phyo Kyaw, and Major Kyaw Zaw Thu.

In addition, 61 people received the “Ye Bala” medal, the Myanmar Police Force’s honorary medal of merit, and Brigadier General Thein Tun Tin, who received the “Management Excellence Medal (First Class)” from the Ministry of Defense, The Ministry of Defence awarded the Order of Excellence (Third Class) to Brigadier General Nay Myo Htun, Major Hlaing Myo Chit, Major Lu Maw and U Thi Ha.

In addition, the Ministry of Defence awarded the Order of Excellence (First Class) for Technical Excellence, Brigadier General Htay Aung and Brigadier General Myat Min Oo, and the Ministry of Defence awarded the Order of Excellence (Third Class) for Technical Excellence, Colonel Thein Lwin, Lieutenant Colonel Aung Naing, Lieutenant Colonel Kyaw Lin Htun, Major Win Ko Ko Naing and Captain Aung Kyi Min.
