Regarding the fighter jet crash, the State Planning and Administrative Council Press Office said that at about 12:15 pm today (June 10), a Tatmadaw (Air Force) fighter jet crashed during a training flight in Pale Township, It was reported that the aircraft suddenly experienced a mechanical failure when it reached the village of Sthapsin, about 2,000 meters east of Mindai village, and crashed into the ground, causing a fire.
In addition, security forces have visited the area where the aircraft crashed and are carrying out necessary security measures, and relevant officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the aircraft mechanical failure.
On May 20, military transport helicopters were transporting administrative supplies to troops at the military forward security posts in Bhamo Township, which are carrying out security and territorial control duties, and while returning, one of the helicopters experienced a mechanical failure and crashed about 14,000 meters southwest of Bhamo.
