Liverpool veteran Salah has said he can play until he is 40.
The 32-year-old Egypt international signed a new contract with Liverpool in April that will keep him at the club until 2027.
However, Salah has said the deal is unlikely to be his last.
“I will play until I feel I can play,” Salah said. “If you ask me how long I will play, I will say until I am 39 or 40. If I feel I should retire before then, I will. I have achieved a lot in my career.”
Salah also said he is happy to play for Liverpool for two more seasons and is not thinking about the future.
Salah scored (29) goals and provided (18) assists in 38 Premier League appearances in the 2024-25 season, winning both the Golden Boot and the Player of the Year awards.
