Manchester United’s key man, Gareth Bale, and manager Ruben Amorin have been at loggerheads since Wednesday’s Europa League final.
Gareth Bale was only allowed to come on as a substitute in the 70th minute of the defeat to Tottenham, and has been unhappy with manager Ruben Amorin’s decision.
Amorin, who has been out for a long time due to injury and has been out of action this season, was used as a starter. Gareth Bale said: “I played every minute of the game and helped the team throughout the journey to the final. But today I only played 20 minutes. I don’t know why.”
He also expressed his uncertainty about his future at the club, saying: “I’ve been happy with the club all season, but the final could have an impact on my future. I’ll try my best to be happy with the club next summer. But we’ll see what happens.”
Robert Ganach, who is also Ganach’s brother and agent, also wrote on his Instagram: “I was let down. He worked hard. He helped the team in every way possible. He scored goals in the last two finals for the club. But in this final he only had 19 minutes.”
Robert Ganach was referring to Ganach’s goals in the 2024 FA Cup final and 2024 Community Shield.
Asked by some journalists whether he thought Ganacho should have been used earlier in the final, Amorebieta said: “How many times do I have to say this? Against Bilbao, some players came in, including Mason Mount. He changed the game. Who wasted the early chances in that game? Ganacho? If I were to say it now, there would be a lot to say.”
