Trump tells Congress to move quickly on Iran peace after US strikes on three nuclear sites
In his speech at the White House, Trump said that if Iran does not make peace, the attacks will continue, and that the future of the administration under his command will be determined by the US.
“Our goal is to destroy Iran’s nuclear program and to accelerate the nuclear threat from Iran, the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism, if Iran does not make peace, there will be major attacks in the future,” Trump said.
President Trump was referring to the country at 1:30 p.m. ET on June 1 (1:30 a.m. ET on June 10) after the US decided to join Israel in attacking Iran’s nuclear-armed states.
He said he would give them two weeks to discuss diplomatic matters, and a brief statement released two days later said the train had dropped bombs on Fordow.
The US military also said it had carried out a highly successful attack on three Iranian nuclear sites.
The US military said its nuclear strike included a key underground uranium enrichment facility at Fordow.

“All aircraft returned safely. We salute our great American service members,” Trump said.
In a second tweet announcing his White House address to the nation, Trump said, “We must now agree to end this war with Iran.”
Trump called the agreement a historic moment for the United States, Israel, and the world.
Reports emerged early on June 21 that B-2 bombers carrying bombs capable of penetrating underground bunkers had departed the United States.
