Naypyitaw State Academy offers a wide range of academic programs, including seven faculties: Arts, Science, Economics, Law, Medicine, Social Sciences, and Sports Sciences, as well as undergraduate, postgraduate, and master’s degree programs. When it was first opened, 12 majors were offered, but now it has expanded to 24 majors, including Industrial Chemistry and Nuclear Physics, which are important for the country’s socio-economic development, and Diplomacy, which can enhance the country’s image in the world. It is recommended that such majors be expanded and that research, which is the lifeblood of the academy, be conducted. The Acting President said that research is an important investment in improving the socio-economic life of citizens, improving education and health standards, and formulating research-based policies.

In addition, Naypyitaw State Academy is a research center for scholars, promoting research projects of young students, and organizing youth talks, exhibition competitions, practical work programs, job fairs and seminars to develop young people’s thinking and abilities. This is a partnership between the university and the industry to help students not only obtain a degree, but also gain job opportunities and build a fulfilling life. The long-term sustainability of a university depends largely on the effective leadership of administrators, the quality of teachers, the students’ appreciation and hard work for their mother university, and the high performance of staff. Therefore, I would like to urge all to make concerted efforts to maintain and enhance the glorious reputation of Naypyitaw State Academy and to stand as a world-class top university for many years to come. I strongly urge students to train and cultivate a new generation of young people who are knowledgeable, skilled, ethical, responsible, and accountable, and to produce graduates who are truly patriotic, patriotic, high-spirited, disciplined, and knowledgeable and capable to lead the country, the Acting President said.
