The World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES 2025) is being held in Mumbai, India from May 1 (today).

The first-ever WAVES 2025 Summit is being held at the invitation of the Indian government and WAVES, and Eleven Media Group Editor-in-Chief Ko Kyaw Zaw Lin is also attending.

The World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit is being held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, and is attended by international guests, Indian government officials and famous Bollywood celebrities.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended and inaugurated the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Mumbai on May 1.

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the World Film and Entertainment Summit on May 1, Prime Minister Modi also outlined his vision for the event.

Modi said that we need to nurture the younger generation to prevent them from being influenced by anti-human ideas, and that now is the time to create for India and for the world.

Modi said that the first film, Raja Harishchandra, was released in India 112 years ago, on May 3, 1913, and that Indian films have gained international recognition in the past 100 years since then.
