The 74th Aung Ba Lay Thein Lottery Opening Ceremony has included the prize value of 0.232 million kyats, which was not enough to cover the prize value of the previous month’s lottery opening, according to a statement from the Aung Ba Lay Thein Lottery Division of the Internal Revenue Department of the Ministry of Planning and Finance.

According to the statement, for the 74th Aung Ba Lay Thein Lottery Opening Ceremony of 1,000 kyats held on May 1, 2025, a total of 654,544 lottery tickets were sold, starting from the letters K to Z, with a total of eight letters.

The proceeds from the sale of lottery tickets amounted to 6,545.440 million kyats, and the 70 percent prize money to be distributed is 4,581.808 million kyats. Similarly, the 73rd lottery opening will be opened with the addition of 0.232 million kyats, which is less than the prize value, bringing the total prize money to 4582.040 million kyats.

Therefore, the lottery prizes to be distributed include one prize of 500,000 kyats, one prize of 200,000 kyats, and one prize of 100,000 kyats in the special prize system, four prizes of 500,000 kyats, five prizes of 200,000 kyats, one prize of 100,000 kyats in the single prize system, 13 prizes of 500,000 kyats, 16 prizes of 200,000 kyats, and 16 prizes of 100,000 kyats in the Wai Wai Sa Pa Daesa prize system, and 330 prizes of 200,000 kyats, 800 prizes of 100,000 kyats, 600,000 kyats, 330,000 kyats, 100,000 kyats, and 100,000 kyats in the Wai Wai Sa Pa Daesa prize system.
