The Union Government, which will be headed by U Nyo Saw as the Prime Minister, was formed by the National Defense and Security Council on July 31.

In the newly formed Union Government, U Nyo Saw has been assigned the responsibility of the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Ministry of National Planning.

The Union Government includes U Tin Aung San as Union Minister for the Ministry of the President’s Office (1), U Ko Ko Hlaing as Union Minister for the Ministry of the President’s Office (2), U Maung Maung Tint as Union Minister for the Ministry of the President’s Office (3), and U Tun On as Union Minister for the Ministry of the President’s Office (4).

 

 

Similarly, U Mya Tun Oo as Union Minister for the Ministry of Transport and Communications, General Maung Maung Aye as Union Minister for the Ministry of Defense, Dr. Kan Zaw as Union Minister for the Ministry of Finance and Revenue, U Than Swe as Union Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung as Union Minister for the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Lt. Gen. Ya Pyae as Union Minister for the Ministry of Border Affairs and Ethnic Affairs.

 

 

In addition, Dr. Wawa Maung has been appointed as the Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Thita Oo as the Union Minister for Legal Affairs and the Union Attorney General, U Maung Maung Ohn as the Union Minister for Information, U Tin Oo Lwin as the Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture, U Min Naung as the Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, and U Hla Moe as the Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development.

 

Similarly, U Khin Maung Yi has been appointed as the Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Nyan Tun as the Union Minister for Electric Power, U Ko Ko Lwin as the Union Minister for Energy, Dr. Charlie Than as the Union Minister for Industry, U Myint Kyaing as the Union Minister for Immigration and Population, U Aung Kyaw Ho as the Union Minister for Labor, U Chit Swe as the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw as the Union Minister for Science and Technology, and Dr. Thet Khaing Win as the Union Minister for Health.

 

 

Jeng Phang Naw Taung has been appointed as Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism, U Myo Thant as Union Minister for Construction, Dr. Soe Win as Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, and U Nay Lin, Director General of the Union Government Office, have been assigned responsibilities in the newly formed Union Government.
