The Central Bank of Myanmar has set the foreign exchange rate at 2,100 kyats per dollar, but on October 24, the foreign exchange rate was around 3,200 kyats per dollar in the external market.

The Central Bank of Myanmar has set the foreign exchange rate at 2,100 kyats per dollar, but on November 28, it was around 2,890 kyats, on November 27, it was around 2,890 kyats, on November 26, it was around 2,900 kyats, on November 25, it was around 2,900 kyats.

On October 31, 2022, the foreign exchange rate was around 2,990 kyats per dollar.

Other foreign exchange rates in the domestic market on August 8, 2023 were Euro 3,700 kyats, Singapore Dollar 2,500 kyats, Malaysian Ringgit 750 kyats, Thai Baht 98.50 kyats, Chinese Yuan 470 kyats, and Japanese Yen 24 kyats.

The Central Bank of Myanmar announced on August 27 that it will take effective action against online businesses that illegally trade foreign currencies in accordance with the Foreign Exchange Management Law and regulations.
