Then, the Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Planning Council, inspected the situation of the collapse of the palace walls due to the earthquake, the damage to buildings and roads in Mandalay, the collapse and fire damage of the main building of Mandalay University, and ordered the officials to take action to find and rescue those trapped in the collapsed buildings as soon as possible, to continue the rescue work according to priority levels, to quickly and firmly rebuild the educational and health facilities as well as new buildings, and to take other necessary measures.
Then, the Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Planning Council, inspected the situation of the preparations to open a temporary hospital and rescue camp at the old airport site in Chan Myat Thazi Township to provide medical treatment to those injured in the earthquake, and instructed the officials to take the necessary measures.
Then, the Chairman of the State Executive Council, the Prime Minister, inspected the ancient buildings inside the palace walls, such as the Khurasin and the Sue Tawsin, which were damaged by the earthquake, and gave instructions based on the reports of the officials.
Then, the Chairman of the State Executive Council, the Prime Minister and his members inspected the damage to the walls near the Sishai Gate and along the palace walls and gave instructions as needed.
Then, the Chairman of the State Executive Council, the Prime Minister and his members visited the Mandalay General Hospital and inspected the medical treatment provided to those injured in the earthquake and gave encouragement. He ordered the Ministry of Health and the Office of the Director of the Tatmadaw Medical Service to work together to provide the injured with the necessary health care as soon as possible, to provide medical treatment in Tatmadaw hospitals and temporary hospitals, and to take other necessary measures.
Then, the Chairman of the State Planning Council, the Prime Minister and members of the State Council arrived at the temporary shelter at the corner of 73 x 30 Road, Chan Aye Tha San Township and made necessary arrangements based on the presentations of the officials.
Then, they presented boxes containing 16 types of relief supplies donated by the Disaster Management Department of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement for the earthquake-affected people and gave warm words of encouragement.
