Manchester United manager Amorin has reportedly told winger Ganacho to pray in front of his team-mates that he will find a new club this summer, before being dropped from the squad, according to the Daily Mail.
Amorin held a meeting with the players at Carrington training ground on Saturday (May 24) and allowed the unhappy Argentine winger to leave the club this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Amorin was furious with Ganacho for criticising him after the Europa League final and told Ganacho to pray that he would find a new club rather than join the team for pre-season training in early July.
Amorin reportedly told Ganacho in front of his team-mates, “You’d be better off praying that a club would sign you,” according to the Daily Mail.
The 20-year-old has made 58 appearances for United in all competitions this season.
However, he has been heavily criticised by manager Amorin after he was left out of the starting line-up and allowed to play just 19 minutes as a substitute in the 1-0 Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.
After the Europa League final, Amorin said: “We had a terrible season. We couldn’t beat anyone in the league. We were all in the same boat. I played at every level until the final and today I didn’t even get 20 minutes.”
Amorin was furious at the comments and told Amorin to find a new club.
Napoli, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are all interested in signing Amorin, with United reportedly asking around £70m for the player.
