The multi-party democratic election will be carried out firmly and will definitely be successful only through cooperation and not compromise, said the Chairman of the State Executive Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Today (March 9), during his official goodwill visit to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, before returning to Myanmar, the Chairman of the State Executive Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, made the following statement in response to a question about the visits.

“I also explained the conditions for the election. When I explained, they also said that they would send representatives from them to observe the election because they supported it. What’s better is that we gained a lot of trust through the two-way meeting. I saw that the people of Russia, Belarus, and their countries have become very interested in Myanmar. This is a good sign for the future of our country. Another thing I said was to hold multi-party democratic elections. That is why we will strengthen the multi-party democratic system. If we really want it, we must not be divided, we must cooperate. If we do that, our country will definitely succeed. I dare to say this. This is my opinion to the people, my opinion,” said the Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Assembly.
