The prize money for the 2025 Club World Cup has been announced by FIFA, with a total prize money of $1 billion for the entire tournament, with the champion receiving a maximum of $125 million.

FIFA will change the number and format of the Club World Cup from 2025, with the tournament to be held every four years with 32 teams.

The total prize money for the tournament will be $1 billion, with the participating teams receiving $525 million based on regional and economic criteria, and $475 million based on sporting performance.

According to FIFA, clubs from the European zone will receive the highest share of $12.81 million to $38.19 million, while clubs from the South American zone will receive $15.21 million, while clubs from the CONCACAF zone, Asia and Africa zones will receive $9.55 million each. The Oceania zone will receive $3.58 million.

Therefore, the top European clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester City, PSG, Chelsea will receive the highest quota.

In addition, depending on the sporting performance, the following will be awarded: $2 million for a win in the group stage, $1 million for a draw, $7.5 million for reaching the round of 16, $13.125 million for reaching the quarter-finals, $21 million for reaching the semi-finals, $30 million for reaching the final and $40 million for winning the championship.

Therefore, if a top European club wins the championship, the maximum prize money can be up to $125 million, FIFA President Infantino said.
