Liverpool striker Salah has become the first player to win all three Premier League awards in a single season.
The Egyptian has won the Golden Boot for top scorer with 29 goals, 18 assists and the Player of the Year award.
No player has ever won the top scorer and top assist award in the same season, but no player has ever won the Player of the Year award.
Salah has thus set a new record in Premier League history.
Salah has also won the top scorer and top assist award in the 2021-22 season.
The other player to do so is former Tottenham striker Harry Kane, who won both awards in 2020-21 with 23 goals and 14 assists.
Andy Cole (Newcastle United) and Hasselbaint (Leeds United) were the top scorers and assisters in the 1993-94 and 1998-99 seasons, respectively, but the assist award was not awarded until the 2017-18 season, so it is not valid.
Salah has won the Premier League top scorer award for the fourth time, equalling former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry’s record for the most wins.
He has also won the assist award for the second time, making him the second most successful player behind Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne (three).
Salah has been directly involved in 47 Premier League goals this season, equalling the record of Alan Shearer and Andy Cole for the most assists in a single Premier League season in Premier League history.
However, Andy Cole and Alan Shearer achieved the record after playing 42 games in a season, while Salah achieved it after playing 38 games in a season, showing a more impressive performance.
