A man who was passing by on a motorcycle was injured when a drop bomb exploded near the fence of the Bilin Township General Administration Department office in Saya San Ward, Bilin Town, Mon State.

At around 9 am on March 24, an armed group attacked the Bilin Township General Administration Department office with a drone and a drop bomb.

During the attack, a resident said that the drop bomb exploded between the flagpole and the fence in front of the General Administration Office building.

He continued, “At that time, a man was passing in front of the office on a motorcycle, and the man was injured in the hip.”

The man who was injured in the bomb was taken to Bilin Township General Hospital, where he received medical treatment and returned home, he said.

In addition, the explosion of the drop bomb slightly damaged the fence and brick wall of the Bilin Township General Administration Department office.

The Bilin Township General Administration Department office has been attacked by drop bombs at least four times since February 1, 2021, and the office building has been damaged, according to residents.
