Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has signed a new contract with the club until 2027 and is keen to win more trophies with the club.
The 60-year-old German coach has taken charge of Barcelona on a two-year deal since the start of the season.
He won three domestic trophies, including the La Liga title, in his first season in charge.
Barcelona officials are so impressed with Flick’s performance that they have extended his contract until 2027 before the end of the season.
Flick said he was delighted to sign a new contract with Barcelona and that he wanted to win more trophies with the club.
Flick said: “I am happy to have signed a new contract with Barcelona. I feel like we are not done yet. Because the team still has a lot of potential. We are a young team and we deserve all the success we have had this season. I am very happy to be working with this team. We will do our best to improve even more. We want to win more trophies. This is Barcelona and we need to win trophies.”
Hansi Flick has managed Barcelona in all competitions so far, winning 43 of his 59 games, losing 9 and drawing 7.
Barcelona have scored 171 goals under Flick, while conceding just 72.
