Manchester United have suffered their eighth home defeat in the Premier League this season, their worst home defeat since 1962-63.

Manchester United have lost their 33rd Premier League match at Old Trafford, losing 1-0, taking their total home defeats in the Premier League to eight.

Manchester United have won six, drawn three and lost eight at home this season, losing to Liverpool, Tottenham, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Wolves.

This means Manchester United have suffered their worst home defeat in the Premier League era, and their worst home defeat in any competition since 1962-63.

In the 1962-63 season, Manchester United lost nine home games in the Premier League.

Manchester United have also suffered a poor record at Old Trafford, with 15 Premier League defeats this season, their worst season since 1989-90.

Manchester United lost 16 games in the Premier League in 1989-90.
