Manchester United co-owner Serge Ratcliffe and the club’s owners have been criticised for their approach to raising funds for the £2 billion stadium.

Manchester United confirmed on Monday that they would be increasing ticket prices again next season.

Manchester United have faced criticism for their ticket price hikes in the last half of the season, but on Monday they announced they would be increasing season ticket prices by around five per cent next season.

Manchester United have not increased the price of under-16 tickets, but the decision to increase all other tickets has been made because of rising costs, chief executive Berarda said.

Manchester United Supporters’ Union (MUST) also said it was “completely disappointed” by the price hike.

In addition, MUST reportedly rejected attempts to meet with Manchester United to stabilize ticket prices.
