The Prime Minister said, “The damage and casualties are so great that emergency relief efforts are needed in the earthquake-hit areas. We have invited domestic and foreign assistance, and during the sixth BIMSTEC Summit in Thailand, we met with the heads of state attending the meeting and requested assistance regarding the earthquake.”

The relief teams from both domestic and international countries are actively assisting in emergency relief efforts in the earthquake-hit areas, and the necessary supplies for the earthquake-affected people, The Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Disaster Response Force, expressed his special gratitude to all foreign and domestic donors who donated relief materials and funds.
