The Myanmar U-22 team, which will participate in the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Championship, defeated MNL Club Akasaka in their last friendly match.
The Myanmar U-22 team has been training twice a week since early March in preparation for the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Championship, which will be their closest competition, and has been playing friendly matches with local clubs from time to time.
The Myanmar U-22 team played a friendly match against MNL Club Akasaka at the Thuwunna Training Ground on May 7 and won by a score of (3-1).
Since the friendly match was a friendly match, the team played for only (30) minutes.
Before this match, the Myanmar U-22 team also won a friendly match against MNL Club Dagon Star United by a score of (4-0).
The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) appointed Japanese coach Kurosaki as the new head coach of the Myanmar U-22 team in early February.
The Myanmar U-22 team played two friendly matches against Hong Kong U-22 in Yangon in March, drawing 0-0 in the first match and 2-0 in the second.
The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) will host the 2025 ASEAN U-23 Championship in Indonesia from July 15 to 31 in Jakarta and Bekasi.
