Inter Milan fans who had left the pitch early after losing 2-3 to Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final at the Camp Nou were denied entry to the San Siro stadium to watch extra time.

Inter Milan were on the verge of being eliminated from the Champions League on 6 May after losing 2-3 to Barcelona at home in the second leg, 5-6 on aggregate.

Some of the frustrated Inter Milan fans left the San Siro stadium before the end of the match.

However, Inter defender Achbi scored the equaliser three minutes into injury time.

Inter fans who had left the pitch early after Achraf scored asked the stadium officials to let them back in and watch extra time.

In a video posted on X by TNT Sports, some Inter fans were seen asking a security guard to let them back into the San Siro.

However, security reportedly refused their request.

Inter Milan went into extra time after the match was tied 3-3 after 90 minutes, but a 99th-minute goal from Fratelli Sissoli gave them a 4-3 win, 7-6 on aggregate, to advance to the Champions League final.

Fans who missed out on Inter’s victory by leaving the pitch early were mocked on social media.

Football fans wrote comments like, “They missed out on one of the best games in history,” “It’s their own fault,” and “I can’t sympathize with them. They suffered the consequences of their choices.”
