On May 26, Chit Ko Ko (b) Kyaw Gyi’s wife Myint Myint Htwe (39), Aung Ko Ko Chit (18), Zin Maung Maung (b) Arnold (27), and Phyo Wai Aung (b) Nyaung Gyi (40), who helped them escape, were arrested at the Bago checkpoint.

According to the statements of the arrested persons, on May 29, Min Sithu (b) A Nayak (29) and Kyaw Zin Thant (b) Lwin Gyi (b) Kyaw Zin (33) who were scouts in the assassinations carried out by their group, including the assassination of U Cho Htun Aung, were arrested at their home at No. (177) on Myintaw Street, Myintaw Ward, Kyee Myint Daing Township, and Han Lin Aung (28) at No. (32) on Myintaw Street, Thita Ward, Kyee Myint Daing Township.

In addition, according to the statement of Myon Ko (b) Sai Ko Ko (b) Zin Min Htet (b) Lin Let Zaw, who was arrested, he was injured in the left leg by a bullet while assassinating U Cho Htun Aung, and the injury was sustained at Myintaw Thar Street, 4/South Ward, Thaketa Township. On the evening of May 26, DCS doctor Zaw Ko Ko (38) and the owner of the “Lin” Specialist Hospital, which was jointly opened by DCS doctors, Dr. Ye Lin Soe (36), were arrested after it was learned that they had been secretly treating patients at the “Lin” Specialist Hospital at No. (524).

In the above incident, 13 men and 3 women, a total of 16 people, were arrested along with evidence used in the murders.
