Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein said that teachers need to take action to reduce the dropout rate of students from universities and degree colleges.

On December 22, Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein made the remarks during a meeting with the rectors, principals, vice-rectors, and professors of universities and degree colleges at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Education Office No. (13) in Nay Pyi Taw.
The Union Minister also said that there is a need to create a good learning environment to increase the attendance rate of students from universities and degree colleges. Teachers need to supervise and work together to reduce the dropout rate of students from universities and degree colleges. Students need to attend school properly and create a good learning environment. Teachers need to carefully scrutinize and systematically implement the projects of final-year students. He said that students should participate in school sports events to experience the essence of attending university and to participate in the Science Festival at Yangon University to make it a lively event. He also urged students to display practical and interesting topics in the exhibits to be displayed at the Science Festival.
