Manchester United boss Amorin has revealed that he will not let Real Madrid target Bruno Fernandes leave the club next summer.
Manchester United have struggled this season but the Portuguese midfielder has been in fine form, scoring 16 goals and providing 16 assists in 45 appearances for the club this season. Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a move for the midfielder this summer, with reports suggesting they are ready to make a £90m bid.
However, Manchester United boss Amorin has insisted they will not sell Bruno Fernandes.
“We are not selling Bruno Fernandes. He is the player we want. He is not going anywhere. Because I have already said that I am not selling him. He is 30 years old but he plays 55 games every season, so he is still young. And he has at least 30 goals and assists every season. He is the type of player we want to have here,” Amorebieta said.
Bruno Fernandes’ current contract with Manchester United runs until 2027, with the option to extend for another year. Amorebieta also said that Bruno Fernandes is needed to help the Red Devils win the Premier League title. “We want to win the Premier League title again. That is why we want the best player to stay with us. At the moment we have everything under control and I feel that Bruno is happy here.”
