The second edition of the four-day Power & Solar Energy Storage Expo, featuring over 100 exhibitors from over 150 international brands, has kicked off in Yangon.

The MYANMAR POWER & SOLAR ENERGY STORAGE LIGHTING EXPO 2025 will be held from May 1 to 4 at the Yangon Convention Center at Inya Lake Hotel in Yangon.

The exhibition will be held from 9am to 5pm at the Yangon Convention Center from May 1 to 3 and from 9am to 2pm on May 4.

“We are exhibiting at the exhibition today because we want to import Huawei products into Myanmar,” said Mathin Zar Htet, Marketing Executive at SEC Solar, which participated in the exhibition. “Huawei is known for its smartphones and laptops in Myanmar. Huawei’s Fusion Solar is a brand that has been successful around the world for 8 consecutive years. According to Huawei’s Safety Level, it is completely made with AI technology, so it is very reliable compared to other authentic products. We want our customers to use this brand in the country. And SEC itself is an official partner of Huawei, so we are importing it with the intention of wanting our customers in the country to use the best products.”

The trade fair featured over 100 booths from over 150 international brands, showcasing solar and generators as well as electronic products. There was a particularly large number of interested buyers who came to view and purchase smart inverters and solar energy systems that do not require solar panels and are connected to a battery.
