The Football Association (FA) will ban transgender players from women’s football from June 1.

The FA confirmed on Thursday that transgender players are currently allowed to play in England, but will be banned from next season.

“Our current policy allows transgender women to play in women’s competitions. However, following a ruling by the High Court on April 16, we will change our policy. Transgender women will no longer be allowed to play in women’s football. This policy will come into effect from June 1,” the FA said in a statement.

The Scottish Football Association has also decided to ban transgender players from playing.

Barcelona’s Spanish starlet Lamine Yamal has been playing at the age of 17, surpassing the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Yamal has made 100 appearances for Barcelona since the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Inter Milan.

He has been involved in 55 goals in 100 appearances, scoring 22 goals and providing 33 assists.

Yamal is 17 years old and has made 17 appearances for the club.

Messi made his debut for Barcelona at the age of 17, having only made nine appearances in all competitions.

In those nine games, he scored just one goal and provided no assists.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, has made a total of 19 appearances since making his debut for Sporting Lisbon at that age, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
