330 Chinese nationals operating online gambling businesses along with their business equipment were arrested near Haipu Village, Mingre Township, Shan State (North).

Based on reports from responsible citizens that online gambling businesses were operating in Mingre Township, joint teams including security forces were conducting necessary aerial reconnaissance, ground investigation and area clearance. At around 7 am this morning, suspicious structures were found near Haipu Village, about 35 kilometers southeast of Mingre Township. They entered and inspected the area. It was found that it was a place where online money fraud and gambling were being conducted. A total of 330 Chinese nationals, including 321 men and 9 women, were involved in online gambling, along with 15 buildings built with green roofs, 10 buildings under construction, 2 generators used in the online fraud village, 208 various phones, 86 ALL-IN-ONE computers, 7 LAPTOPs, 23 STAR LINKs, and 10 various vehicles were found and seized.

The seized accessories used in online gambling will be processed in accordance with the procedures, and those arrested will be taken into custody in accordance with the law, and those involved behind the scenes will be identified and taken effective action in accordance with the law, and the suppression work is ongoing.
